A perennial easy target for jokes of the lampooning kind are cultural icons such as products and their advertisements. Monster joke magazines such as Stan Lee's MONSTERS TO LAUGH with were overly heavy with them.

The temptation was not wasted by Ron Haydock, Paul Blaisdell, Bob Burns and Jim Harmon, the collective editorship and braintrust of the excellent but short-lived FANTASTIC MONSTERS OF THE FILMS. They were known to be quite the pranksters anyway, so why not share a bit of it with the readership? This example is from Volume I Number 3, published in 1962.
